Terry Swaysland's new CD “Another Time”
In an era of manufactured boy/girl bands and cover versions, it’s refreshing to hear a new album by long-standing English singer/ songwriter Terry Swaysland, featuring 14 original songs that are strong on melody and emotion. With his distinctive vocal style and guitar playing, Swaysland has had airplay in the UK, Europe and the States over the years. Amongst his musical collaborators on the album are Steve Phillips (Founding member of Mark Knopflers Notting Hillbillies) Ged Lynch (Peter Gabriel, David Gilmour) and guitarist Mike Hehir (Sad Cafe, Barclay James Harvest). Recorded by Mark Jones at MJM studios, and released on the independent Rockbeam label. Album producer was Mark Jones, cover photography is the work of artists Sean Welsby, Garry Lomax and Jessica Swaysland whose images give a distinctive feel to the overall presentation.
